ALL BLACK n RED

Hey everyone! it is Monday already! and the month of May is going by so fast! I hope everyone is doing well. I want to say a big thank you to my new and old followers *hugsss*. I am planning something special , a very special give away soon.
I wore this on friday to work, very simple and comfy.

"Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing? For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things" Mathew 6 vs 31 and 32.
I found myself worrying a lot in the past week.  It happens, sometimes we loose faith, but I am reassuring myself with God's word .He knows all about me and all of what I need. He sees to it that  I am fulfilled!
Are you worrying or fussing about something? Take it to God in prayer and watch things unfold. I did so and things are beggining to work for my good!

So all my attempts to take good quality pictures today failed, it is already bad enough that I only post on sundays, this is solely due to the fact that I do not have someone to take my pics, there are so many beautiful places to take pics but my dears I hardly am lucky.

This week has been a tough one on my country, terrorists taking lives of innocent people. We will not loose faith though, we continue to trust that everything will be well with Nigeria !

brightly colored

Hey everyone, I had a hard time selecting what to wear to church today. I am having this hate relationship with skirts of late and for no reason at all. I guess sometimes you are just drawn to certain clothe types.
So I settled for this brightly colored skirt I have had in my closet for over a year. I feel this outfit will be approved by my mum one hundred percent! lol.

So early this year, I told you guys I will be attending lots of weddings, it just so happens that most of my school mates are tying the knot this year, I mean I have a minimum of 2 weddings to attend every month!
This is what i wore to my friend's wedding on saturday, it was a beautiful wedding.
Love is definitely in the air.....can you feel it??? lol.

GOOD FRIDAY

Hi everyone, I hope we all had a good holiday. I had a splendid one, a friend of mine got married and it was an awesome weekend. I will definitely post pics from the wedding ceremony.

Here is what i wore to church on Good Friday, I took out my weave and had no other choice but to use a turban, I havn't worn one out to church in a long , long time. Church was really long but inspiring. We were once again reminded of the pains and suffering Jesus bore just to set us free. We have in him redemption, the forgiveness of our sins and a promise of a life spent in eternity with him. We saw the movie" the passion of the christ "and I couldnt keep the tears from trickling down....all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS FOR DYING ON THE CROSS FOR ME!
I came across a poem written by a fellow blogger miss Janyl of never a dull moment titled "love of a king", you all should check it out, it portrays all of what christ did for us. I loved it.

crazy hot weekend

Hello....
I wish weekends were longer :(. These days they come and go like lightning. I had a very busy weekend with little time to rest, for some reason there is just so much to do. I long for days like december of 2010 when all i did was use my annual leave to wake, eat and sleep! I seriously want to travel soon and just take time off to unwind. I think my body is giving me signals that i have to respond to asap.

I wore this sheer maxi dress my tailor made for me yesterday to go help my cousin out with our new bundle of joy who arrived last week. The weather is so, so hot and  all I find myself wear these days are tanks and maxi's. I wish I could have just a bit of the cold I experienced at Christmas when i traveled! ( humans-insatiable beings! lol)

My bag clashes with this outfit, i had no time to change  bags this week, busy, busy busy! i guess it happens sometimes ;)

After all the hard work this weekend, i decided to treat myself :)
