crazy hot weekend

Hello....
I wish weekends were longer :(. These days they come and go like lightning. I had a very busy weekend with little time to rest, for some reason there is just so much to do. I long for days like december of 2010 when all i did was use my annual leave to wake, eat and sleep! I seriously want to travel soon and just take time off to unwind. I think my body is giving me signals that i have to respond to asap.

I wore this sheer maxi dress my tailor made for me yesterday to go help my cousin out with our new bundle of joy who arrived last week. The weather is so, so hot and  all I find myself wear these days are tanks and maxi's. I wish I could have just a bit of the cold I experienced at Christmas when i traveled! ( humans-insatiable beings! lol)

My bag clashes with this outfit, i had no time to change  bags this week, busy, busy busy! i guess it happens sometimes ;)

After all the hard work this weekend, i decided to treat myself :)

Hi everyone, hope we are all good. Sorry for being away for so long,  I will continue to try to update as frequently as I can. Work is becoming crazy (This happens always towards the second quarter of the year), my field trips are beginning to kick off and I will be drenched in reports and presentations, but I promise to come here as often as I can and visit my fav blogs too.

EASY LIKE SATURDAY AFTERNOON

I wish my Saturday was that  easy. Sometimes you find yourself excited that it is weekend but sooner than you think that euphoria is cut off! The much anticipated weekend becomes so choked with activities leaving you overwhelmed and tired!
Oh well, am having a less busy week and enjoying it. So far ,so good. How is everyone doing?

Hey every one, like I said in my previous post, I'll be attending lots of weddings this year. Friends and relatives are all 'jumping the broom', sealing their fates and embarking on the journey for a life time.
My friend got married last weekend and it was oh so lovely! she looked so beautiful....it is amazing seeing someone you've known all your life find love and happiness and take that step to be with the one till death do them part. AM A SUCKER FOR LOVE AND HAPPY ENDINGS :).

HAPPY MARRIED LIFE JOYYYY

Hey everyone !so sorry for the infrequent posts, I have been involved in a lot of things both work related and personal wise.
Any ways , a close friend of mine got married on the 28th of January and I couldn't miss her wedding for anything! with all the security threats and uncertainties, I just had to be there and was very glad that I made it. It was a beautiful wedding, a wedding whose love story I had followed. There was joy , laughter and so much fun .I know they are destined to be together and am so happy for my friend.
 Here are some pictures we took. It is rather sad that I couldn't get a proper shot of the couple, I only have nice ones in hard copies.

happy new year!!!

I know saying and wishing this is long overdue but I will anyways... HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I hope the year has been good so far. January is half way gone and February is staring at us in the face already!
I apologize for being away for too long , there are sometimes I just feel like relaxing a bit from posting and just enjoying blogs-ville :).
 I took these photos way back in December before going on my vacation but haven't gotten the time or zeal to post them. I am wearing a Calvin Klein dress (originally  for my older sis but she still has on some post baby weight so i was lucky to snatch it!* evil grin*) ,black pumps by Bamboo and clutch from a road side trader.
PS: I like this big dusty truck, it reminded me of an abandoned one we had parked in my primary school, we played a lot on and in that truck!
